Frequently Asked Questions
I have multiple sites. Can I apply for funding for each one?
Yes! Companies can claim up to $100,000 for EACH site.
Won't this increase my electrical costs?
Maybe. Applicants can install pay-stations and charge users for access to their equipment. All of the major utility providers also have special demand rates for stand-alone stations that help make them affordable (ex: Fortis). There's other ways to manage your costs and a qualified installer will be able to help you find the best solution for your situation.
Are car dealerships eligible for this funding?
Yes! Funding is available for 'fleets' and that definitely includes car dealerships. Install them on your lot or in your shop to make sure your dealership or repair facility is ready for the new wave of models coming to market over the next year.
